Biografia:
Caracterizando-se por seus quatro guitarristas e um som psicodélico sessentista, a Plan 9, de Rhode Island, executou basicamente covers em seu primeiro disco, "Frustration", de 1982.
Mas acrescentou um lote de canções próprias no segundo álbum, "Dealing With The Dead", e preencheu os dois registros posteriores com músicas dos seus singles iniciais ("Plan 9") e apresentações ao vivo ("I've Just Killed A Man, I Don't Want To See Any Meat"). Já em "Keep Your Cool & Read The Rules", de 1985, adicionou um pouco de hard rock, mas, após migrar para a gravadora Enigma, tirou suas influências sessentistas do baú e começou a soar como uma autêntica banda de rock retrô (John Bush, AllMusic; tradução livre do inglês).
